Our Journey
As a company that encompasses values of compassionate care, it was recognised that not everyone in need of care is eligible for NDIS or can afford private care. We turned to our community and identified that our team was comprised of many beautiful and strong individuals who play a carer’s role beyond the workplace. We quickly identified ~ Carers need caring too. In 2022, Lifest became a recognised service provider with Carer Gateway and have commenced providing relief across the Greater Brisbane Region to inspiring carer’s.
What is Carer Gateway?
Carer Gateway is funded by the Australian Government to provide free supports for carers through a network of regional service providers.
Who is a carer?
If you support a family member, a loved one or a friend who has a disability, mental illness, chronic health illness, terminal illness or is frail aged you can access free supports.
How do I get access to these supports?
1. Call 1800 422 737 Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
2. Select option 1, this will allow you to speak with your local Carer Gateway Service Provider
3. The Carer Gateway staff will ask you questions and learn about you, your caring role and what services can assist you.
4. Request Lifest Heath Care as your chosen supplier
