This support can take place in a person’s home or within their community. Individual goals vary for different people, including but not limited to support with cleaning and maintaining their home, personal care, meal assistance, community access, recreation, communication and education.

Lifest HealthCare is an NDIS Registered Provider

Staff who join the Lifest HealthCare team are expected to have at a minimum (or be willing to obtain):

  • A paid NDIS Worker Screening Card
  • Completed the NDIS Worker Orientation
  • Valid CPR & First Aid
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Comprehensive car insurance
  • Valid Working Rights /Australian Citizenship/Residency
  • Industry qualification (min cert 3 in Disability or willingness to obtain)
  • A least one work related reference (must not be a friend or relative)
  • Other industry certifications (i.e. completed medications training & hand hygiene) 
  • Abide by the NDIS Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Lifest HealthCare expects all staff to adhere to the NDIS code of conduct which requires people who deliver NDIS supports and services to:

  • Act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination, and decision-making in accordance with relevant laws and conventions.
  • Respect the privacy of people with disability.
  • Provide supports and services in a safe and competent manner with care and skill.
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and transparency.
  • Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that might have an impact on the quality and safety of supports provided to people with disability.
  • Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence against, exploitation, neglect, and abuse of people with disability.
  • Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct.
